Magic Highway 1958

What a find. Past the amazing animation this Disney piece on the future of automotive is a great piece of history. Where are the heated super highways and in-office parking? The flipping electromagnet and solar powered cars? We really dropped the ball somewhere along the line, that's for damn sure. It's funny, a film like this would never be made now about 2050. As a whole I feel we've just lost the spark we had in the late 50's and early 60's. We'll never get those automatic-ceramic-bridge-builders without hoping and dreaming for them.
